Gnostic Reveil is a rebranded release of the earlier album that was called "Mooding the Changes" (as alternative to "Changing the Moods"). It. presents nice melodic but minimalistic and repetitive music.
Chayell’s initiative to launch a new project under the name of “Chayell Zen” kind-of glued all minimalistic efforts together.

Track titles are inspired by old wisdom and the richness of spiritual knowledge across the cultures and through the history of the world, Gnostic Reveil is a modest attempt to help people think about something more than day-to-day life. If your curiosity is triggered, you may try to figure out what the track titles mean. The term ‘Gnostic’ refers to old wisdom - not to a specific sidestep of a popular religion.
